"This Girl's in Love with You" is Aretha Franklin's sixteenth studio album, a soul and R&B record released on Atlantic Records on January 15, 1970. The album was produced by Jerry Wexler, Tom Dowd, and Arif Mardin and yielded the singles "Share Your Love with Me," "Eleanor Rigby," and the pairing of "Call Me" with "Son of a Preacher Man." Franklin's cover of The Beatles' "Let It Be" was the first recording of the song to be commercially issued, predating The Beatles' own release in March 1970, with Paul McCartney having sent her a demo as a guide. The album reached the Top 20 of the Billboard chart but sold modestly despite several hit singles. AllMusic rated it three out of five stars, and Rhino Records reissued it on compact disc in 1993 after it had been long out of print.
