How the numbers are counted
- Authorship is the share of an artist's tracks where the act itself, or one of its members, is credited as a lyricist or a composer.
- Wrote alone counts tracks where every writing credit belongs to the act or its members. Co-written counts tracks they share with an outside writer. Outside writers is the rest.
- The album bars run oldest to newest and score each record on its own tracks. A grey bar means that album's writing credits are not logged yet.
- Only studio albums we have entered are counted, so a total here is a total for this database and not a career total.

Where these numbers come from
Both sides of a matchup are counted off the same track-level credit rows the rest of the site runs on. When a name keeps showing up on the outside-writer side of somebody's catalog, the boards are where to go looking for it.
