You is a 1975 R&B, disco, and pop album by Aretha Franklin, released on Atlantic Records on October 16 of that year. Jerry Wexler and Franklin produced the record, with arrangements by Gene Page and playing from guitarists Ray Parker Jr., Lee Ritenour, and David T. Walker, saxophonists Tom Scott and Ernie Watts, and backing vocals from Cissy Houston. The single "Mr. D.J. (5 for the D.J.)" reached number 53 on the Hot 100 and number 13 on the R&B chart, while the title track "You" hit number 15 R&B and "It Only Happens (When I Look at You)" was also featured. The album peaked at number 83 on the Billboard 200, reflecting the commercial slide she experienced during this period. It marked the end of Franklin's long working relationship with producer Jerry Wexler.
