The track listing included the title song "He Touched Me," "Amazing Grace," "Lead Me, Guide Me," and "Reach Out to Jesus," leaning toward a contemporary Christian sound. Vocal support came from The Imperials, Millie Kirkham, and Kathy Westmoreland, with instrumental backing from guitarist James Burton, keyboardist David Briggs, and drummer Kenny Buttrey. The album earned Presley the second of his three Grammy Awards. It was his third and final studio gospel album and the most contemporary of the three, and it was certified Gold on March 27, 1992, and Platinum on July 15, 1999, by the RIAA.
