Talkin to the Trees is Neil Young’s forty-fifth studio album, released on June 13, 2025 through the Other Shoe and Reprise. It is his first with the Chrome Hearts, a band built from his Promise of the Real rhythm section plus Micah Nelson and the veteran keyboard player Spooner Oldham. Cut in three days at Shangri La in Malibu in October and November 2024, its ten tracks run 38 minutes and are all written by Young alone.
