Together Through Life Songwriting Credits by Bob Dylan

Released April 28, 2009, Together Through Life was recorded in December 2008 at Groove Masters studio in Santa Monica with Dylan self-producing under the Jack Frost pseudonym. Nearly every track was co-written with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, the pair's most extensive collaboration since Down in the Groove (1988), while "My Wife's Home Town" also credits Willie Dixon and "If You Ever Go to Houston" draws from the folk standard "Midnight Special." The album features guitarist Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Los Lobos accordionist David Hidalgo, creating what critics described as a blues-inflected sound reminiscent of Chess and Sun Records. It received a Metacritic score of 76 and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200, also topping charts in the UK, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, and Scotland.
