Behind the Sun is Eric Clapton's 1985 studio album, co-produced by Phil Collins and Ted Templeman and marking a noticeable shift toward the polished, drum-machine-heavy production style that dominated mid-1980s pop and rock. The album generated two significant hits: 'Forever Man,' a Clapton original and one of the stronger rock songs of his 1980s output, and 'She's Waiting,' a blues-influenced track that received considerable MTV airplay.
