By the Numbers
Let Love In hands most of the production to Glen Ballard, a change from longtime collaborator Rob Cavallo, who produces only the Supertramp cover "Give a Little Bit." John Rzeznik writes the adult-contemporary singles "Better Days" and "Stay with You," while Robby Takac again contributes a few tracks. The album leans into polished, radio-friendly rock and was certified Gold.
Let Love In was released on Warner Bros. on April 25, 2006 and reached number nine on the Billboard 200, selling around 83,000 copies in its first week. Glen Ballard produced most of it, with Rob Cavallo handling only the Supertramp cover 'Give a Little Bit,' which had been cut back in 2004. 'Better Days' and 'Stay with You' pushed the band further into adult contemporary radio. The RIAA certified the album gold in May 2019.
