Nightvision is the first of the FiXT albums where the credits open up. Kellii Scott plays drums on Vitamin D and Klayton adds synthesizer to the same track, and Army Of Me hands the writing to Björk Guðmundsdóttir and Graham Massey with the publishing moving off FiXT Music to Jora Ehf. Both exceptions are printed the same way on TIDAL and on the album's own page, which is rare for this catalogue and makes the record the easiest of the four to check. The other nine tracks sit where the earlier albums left them, with Brandon Smith writing, producing, mixing and mastering alone.

Nightvision arrived on 2 June 2023 and pulled The Anix toward 1990s alternative rock and grunge, with fewer layers of synthesizer than Graphite or Hologram carried. Eleven tracks include a cover of the Björk song Army Of Me and Vitamin D, which brought in Failure drummer Kellii Scott and a synthesizer part from Klayton. Spit You Out, See Nothing, Just Like You, Frozen Waves and Bleach all went out as singles across the eight months before release. Brandon Smith wrote everything else on the record and produced, mixed and mastered it himself.
