GXG on Parasite and Aura Shred on Illusion Of Control both appear as featured performers while Brandon Smith holds composer and lyricist on all thirteen tracks, so the guests shape the sound of two songs without touching the authorship of any. The only irregularity in the credits is Chains, which lists Brandon Smith and the project name together on both writer lines and carries no producer line at all, a duplicate of one person rather than a second contributor.

Graphite came out on 26 June 2020 as the third FiXT album from The Anix, built out of a run of singles that started with If This World Is With You in January and carried on through Still Standing, Give It Up, Parasite, Hideaway and Die With You. Thirteen tracks cover ground from the straight alternative rock of Still Standing to the muted electronics of Parasite, which features GXG, while Aura Shred guests on Illusion Of Control. Brandon Smith wrote every track, produced the record under the project name and made the cover art. A deluxe edition and a full instrumental version both followed in August 2020.
