By the Numbers
Two sources agree on the writing and on its shape. The 2022 remaster's credit page puts Brandon Smith on every song and adds Christopher Yarber to This Game, Bullets Without a Gun and the track it calls Double Zero, which is the 2008 album's The Lowdown of a Fool under a new name. Discogs names the same two writers at release level and adds Tomas Costanza, who produced and mixed the album, without saying which songs he had a hand in writing. Yarber leaves the band the year this comes out, so it is the last record where the writing is shared with anyone in the line-up until Ephemeral nine years later.
Demolition City came out on Chamberlain Records on 1 January 2008 and is the album that got The Anix noticed, with a review in the 31 May 2008 issue of Billboard praising the band for building on 80s music. Tomas Costanza produced and mixed the ten tracks, and Greg Nabours joined on keys behind Brandon Smith, Chris Yarber and drummer Logan Smith. A remaster in 2022 brought the record back with demos attached and one song, The Lowdown of a Fool, retitled Double Zero.
