By the Numbers
McCartney wrote all fourteen tracks and wrote nine of them entirely alone, at 84. Andrew Watt, who produced the record with him, is the only other credited writer anywhere on it, appearing on five songs. That is a tighter writing circle than most of his later solo albums and closer to the McCartney, McCartney II and McCartney III records he made largely by himself. Ringo Starr plays on 'Home to Us', the pair's first studio appearance together in years.
The Boys of Dungeon Lane is Paul McCartney's first solo studio album since McCartney III in 2020, released on May 29, 2026 through Capitol. Produced with Andrew Watt and recorded at Abbey Road and Metropolis in London and three Los Angeles studios, it runs fourteen tracks. Ringo Starr appears on 'Home to Us'.
