Run Devil Run is the seventeenth studio album by Paul McCartney, released in October 1999 and produced by Chris Thomas. It is a rock and roll covers album recorded in response to the death of Linda McCartney in April 1998, with McCartney recording classic 1950s rock and roll songs as a form of musical catharsis. The band included David Gilmour, Mick Green, and Ian Paice.
