Paul McCartney wrote every song on Memory Almost Full, with sole writing credit across the standard track listing. It was the first album released on Starbucks' Hear Music label, marking a break from his long Parlophone and Capitol relationship. David Kahne produced the record, which McCartney had begun before pausing to make Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.
Memory Almost Full is the twentieth studio album by Paul McCartney, released in June 2007 on Hear Music. McCartney wrote all tracks and played most of the instruments himself. The album was named after a message on an answering machine and has a meditative, retrospective quality.
