Data Insight

Moving Violation was the Jackson 5's final studio album for Motown, produced by a roster that included Brian Holland, Hal Davis, Mel Larson, Jerry Marcellino and Michael Lovesmith. As on the earlier Motown records, the brothers received no songwriting credits, with material supplied entirely by label staff and outside writers. The lead single 'Forever Came Today' was a funk-disco reworking of the Holland-Dozier-Holland song first recorded by the Supremes.

Moving Violation is the tenth studio album by the Jackson 5, released in May 1975 on Motown Records. It was the group's final studio album for Motown before their departure to Epic Records. The Jackson 5 would soon become The Jacksons with Jermaine remaining at Motown.
