By the Numbers
Whibley is on all fourteen tracks and alone on twelve, holding the pattern set by Underclass Hero. He also produces and mixes several tracks himself, which makes this the first album where he controls every stage. Matt Squire is the only outside name in the writing anywhere on it.
Screaming Bloody Murder is Sum 41's fifth album, released in March 2011 on Island. Deryck Whibley wrote and produced it during a period he has since described as heavy drinking. Its title track brought a Grammy nomination for the band's next release, and the album sold less than any before it.
