Data Insight

Whibley is on all ten tracks and alone on six, with a handful of outside co-writers appearing for the first time in years: Mike Green, Matt Squire and the Alt brothers. He produced and engineered it himself. The record is about the illness that nearly killed him, so the writing being mostly his is the point of it.

13 Voices is Sum 41's sixth album, released in October 2016 on Hopeless Records, their first in five years and the first after Whibley's hospitalisation for alcohol-related illness. Dave Baksh returned to the band for it. IMPALA gave it a double gold award for 150,000 sales across Europe.
