Data Insight

The only Sum 41 album credited to the band rather than to individuals: all thirteen tracks name Sum 41 and nobody else. That is a deliberate choice on a record made straight after the Congo trip, and it means the per-track authorship figures on this page show no named writer for this album even though the band wrote every note of it.

Chuck is Sum 41's third album, released in October 2004 and named after Chuck Pelletier, the UN peacekeeper who got the band out of the Democratic Republic of the Congo during fighting there. It reached number 10 on the Billboard 200 and won the Juno for Rock Album of the Year.
