By the Numbers
All thirteen tracks credit the band, and this is the record where the writing is most evenly shared: Whibley writes seven alone, Steve Jocz appears on four, and Dave Baksh and Jason McCaslin share the rest. The four-way credit on "Fat Lip" is exactly what a band of teenagers who wrote together in a garage looks like on paper.
All Killer No Filler is Sum 41's debut, released in May 2001 on Aquarius and Island with Jerry Finn producing. "Fat Lip" topped Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart and reached number 66 on the Hot 100, the only Sum 41 song to enter it. The album is certified platinum in the United States and triple platinum in Canada.
