By the Numbers
Builders of the Future is the first Powerman 5000 album to credit individual songwriters per track rather than the collective 'Powerman 5000' for all music. Spider One wrote all lyrics across the album. Evan Rodaniche co-wrote nine of the ten tracks (all except 'How to Be a Human'). Dave Pino (formerly Velkro) co-wrote track 3 alongside Spider One, and Nick Quijano co-wrote five tracks. The album debuted at number 63 on the Billboard 200.
T-Boy Records and Universal Music Enterprises put this out in May 2014, and it entered the Billboard 200 at number 63 on about 4,200 first week copies. Spider One wrote every lyric and shares the music with producer Evan Rodaniche on nine of the ten tracks, guitarist Nick Quijano co-wrote four of those, and Dave Pino wrote the single "How to Be a Human" with Spider instead.
