Michael is the first album released after Jackson's death, assembled in 2010 from recordings made across the 1990s and 2000s. He holds a writing credit on most of its tracks, but the album is best known for controversy: three songs, the so-called Cascio tracks, were alleged by family members to feature an impostor singer rather than Jackson, and were later pulled from streaming. Michael is the first posthumous studio album by Michael Jackson, released on December 14, 2010, over a year after his death. The album sparked significant controversy because several tracks (most notably 'Breaking News,' 'Keep Your Head Up,' and 'Monster') were alleged by members of his family and estate to feature an impostor vocalist rather than Jackson.
