This Is Me... Now is a concept album built entirely around Jennifer Lopez's on-and-off relationship with Ben Affleck, framed as a sequel to her 2002 record This Is Me... Then and released alongside the companion film This Is Me... Now: A Love Story. Lopez co-wrote and executive produced the project with a tight team led by Rogét Chahayed, Jeff "Gitty" Gitelman, Angel Lopez, and songwriter Atia "INK" Boggs, who shaped most of the album's lyrics and production. Songs map the arc of the romance directly, from the rekindling on "Dear Ben, Pt. II," a follow-up to her original "Dear Ben," to the wedding-day imagery of "Midnight Trip to Vegas" and "Greatest Love Story Never Told." The lead single "Can't Get Enough" set the tone as a buoyant, hook-driven pop statement of devotion.
This Is Me... Now is Jennifer Lopez's ninth studio album, released February 16, 2024 on her own Nuyorican Productions imprint via BMG. It is the spiritual successor to This Is Me... Then (2002) and was conceived as a personal reflection on love, written largely in response to her marriage to Ben Affleck in 2022. Lopez holds co-writing credits on all thirteen tracks, the most comprehensive writing involvement of her career. The album was accompanied by a film of the same name and a documentary. Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and Scott Storch appear as co-writers on the opening track.
