Sisters of Avalon Songwriting Credits by Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi Lauper's fifth studio album, co-produced with Jan Pulsford and Mark Saunders, released in Europe in 1996 and the United States in 1997 through Epic Records. The album was co-written almost entirely by Lauper and Pulsford. Ten of the twelve standard-edition tracks bear their joint credit; "Fearless" is credited solely to Lauper and "Hot Gets a Little Cold" is co-written with Catherine Russell. The album adopted an electronic and trip-hop influenced sound recorded primarily in Europe, a deliberate departure from American pop radio. Lauper holds a writing credit on all twelve tracks, continuing the full-album authorship she established with Hat Full of Stars. Sisters of Avalon sold modestly in the United States but was better received in Europe and Japan, and it represents the deepest and most sustained writing partnership in her career.
