That's the Spirit is the fifth studio album by Bring Me the Horizon, released in 2015 and the record that pushed them fully into the rock mainstream. Self-produced by Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish, it trades heavy guitars for atmospheric, hook-laden alternative rock, with electronics and clean vocals at the center. Sykes, Lee Malia, and Jordan Fish wrote all eleven tracks together, continuing the core partnership that began on Sempiternal. Singles 'Throne,' 'Happy Song,' 'Drown,' and 'Follow You' became some of the band's biggest hits, and the album topped the chart in Australia and reached the UK top three. A polished, accessible turn, it cemented their move from metalcore to arena-ready rock.
