By the Numbers
Nex Gen is the band's most collaborative album by far: with Jordan Fish gone, Oli Sykes writes alongside a rotating cast of producers and co-writers, chiefly Zakk Cervini and Dan Lancaster, on nearly every track. Post Human: Nex Gen is the seventh studio album by Bring Me the Horizon, released in 2024 as the second installment of the Post Human series. It is the first full-length recorded after the departure of Jordan Fish, with producers Zakk Cervini and Dan Lancaster stepping into larger creative roles alongside Oli Sykes. The album fuses emo, trance, hyperpop, and metalcore into a frenetic, maximalist sound, with Sykes leading the writing across a wide cast of collaborators. Guests include Aurora, Underoath, Lil Uzi Vert, and Glassjaw's Daryl Palumbo, and the lead single 'Kool-Aid' became a fan favorite. Topping the UK chart, it pushed the band's genre-blending into bold new territory.
