By the Numbers
A posthumous collaboration: the album is built from riffs and ideas the two brothers worked up together before Malcolm died in 2017, so his name is on every track of a record made three years after his death. Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd all returned for it, which puts the Black Ice lineup back together minus Malcolm.
Power Up is AC/DC's seventeenth studio album, released on 13 November 2020 and produced by Brendan O'Brien. Twelve tracks built from material Angus and Malcolm Young had written together before Malcolm's death in 2017. It reached number 1 in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Switzerland.
