3 Doors Down are an American rock band formed in Escatawpa, Mississippi in 1996, led by founding singer Brad Arnold. They broke through with the ubiquitous 2000 single 'Kryptonite' from their debut The Better Life and went on to release six studio albums of radio-friendly post-grunge, including hits like 'Here Without You' and 'When I'm Gone.' Arnold, who also drummed on the band's early recordings, died in 2026; guitarist Matt Roberts had died in 2016.
