NSYNC were an American boy band formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995, consisting of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. They became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, selling over 70 million records worldwide, driven largely by the songwriting and production of Max Martin, Denniz Pop, and Veit Renn. On their later albums, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez began taking on significant co-writing roles, most notably on Celebrity (2001).

Data Insight

NSYNC's authorship score of roughly 15–20% reflects a clear arc: the debut was almost entirely outside-written by Swedish hitmakers, No Strings Attached added limited Timberlake/Chasez co-writes, and Celebrity saw both finally emerge as genuine contributors, accounting for nearly all of the group's total writing credits.
