By the Numbers
Eleven of the thirteen tracks are Jack White's; the two exceptions are Son House's "Death Letter" and Blind Willie McTell's "Your Southern Can Is Mine", which places the album's sources on the sleeve. This is the first record Jack produced himself, and the credit shape does not change: his lyrics, both their names on the music.
De Stijl is the White Stripes' second album, released in June 2000 on Sympathy for the Record Industry and named after the Dutch art movement. Jack White produced and engineered it at home, and Jim Diamond mixed. It reached number 164 on the Billboard 200 years after release.
