Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned is the 2004 fourth studio album by The Prodigy, a big beat and electropunk record released in the UK on August 23, 2004. Liam Howlett was the only band member to contribute musically, recording largely on his laptop using Propellerhead Reason software, with guest appearances from Juliette Lewis, Liam and Noel Gallagher, Kool Keith, Twista, and Princess Superstar. It produced the singles "Girls," "Hotride," and "Spitfire," with "Girls" peaking at No. 19 in the UK. The album reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 62 on the Billboard 200, while topping the US Top Dance Albums chart, and it was certified Gold in the UK for more than 100,000 units. It became one of the band's lowest-selling albums, and both XL and Maverick dropped the group after their 2005 compilation.
