Liam Howlett wrote and produced nearly all of Invaders Must Die, the record that reunited the full Prodigy trio of Howlett, Keith Flint, and Maxim for the first time since 1997's The Fat of the Land. Invaders Must Die is the 2009 fifth studio album by The Prodigy, a big beat and new rave record released on February 23, 2009. It was the first album on which all active members participated creatively, with Liam Howlett producing and handling synthesizers, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality on vocals, and Dave Grohl guesting on drums. The album produced the singles "Invaders Must Die," "Omen," "Warrior's Dance," and "Take Me to the Hospital," with "Omen" reaching No. 4 in the UK. It debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart with 97,254 copies and reached No. 58 on the Billboard 200, also topping the Swiss Albums chart. Certified 2x Platinum in the UK for 600,000 copies, it had sold more than 1,029,000 copies worldwide by November 2009 despite a mixed Metacritic score of 60.
