Midnights is Taylor Swift's tenth studio album, released October 21, 2022, through Republic Records. A synth-pop and dream-pop record described by Swift as 'the stories of 13 sleepless nights throughout my life,' it was produced almost entirely with Jack Antonoff with additional contributions from Zoë Kravitz and various co-writers. It broke the record for most streams in a single day on Spotify upon release, and its lead single 'Anti-Hero' became the longest-running number-one song of Swift's career, spending eight weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The album debuted at number one in over 40 countries. Hours after its midnight release, Swift dropped the '3am Edition,' a 10-track extension bringing the total to 23 songs, a strategy that broke streaming records and led to Swift occupying the top ten positions on the Hot 100 simultaneously, the only artist ever to do so.
