If You Ain't Lovin' You Ain't Livin' is the seventh studio album by George Strait, released in 1988 on MCA Records and produced with Jimmy Bowen. The title track, a Tommy Collins song first cut by Faron Young in the 1950s, gave Strait a number one and signaled his comfort reviving classic country material. The album also delivered the hit 'Baby Blue,' written by Aaron Barker, one of the writers who would supply Strait for years. He wrote none of the ten songs, again working entirely from outside material. It was certified platinum.
