Immortalized

Immortalized is the sixth studio album by Disturbed, released in August 2015 on Reprise Records and produced by Kevin Churko. It was the band's return after a four-year hiatus and the album that contained their breakthrough cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence,' which became the most commercially significant recording of their career outside their own original material. Draiman wrote the original lyrics; the 'Sound of Silence' arrangement (solo voice over orchestral strings, without any of the band's signature heavy production) demonstrated a dramatic formal range that surprised audiences who had primarily associated Draiman's voice with metal and generated over 200 million YouTube views and eventually over one billion streams.
