Partners is a 2014 studio album by Barbra Streisand, released September 16, 2014 on Columbia Records. It is a duets album built entirely around collaborations with male singers, pairing Streisand with Michael Buble, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Babyface, Billy Joel, Blake Shelton, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, her son Jason Gould, John Legend, Josh Groban, and a virtual duet with the archival vocal of Elvis Presley. The material is drawn from outside-written standards and re-recordings of her own past hits rather than new original songs, so the songwriting credits belong to writers such as Jule Styne and Bob Merrill, Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer, Marvin Hamlisch with Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Irving Berlin, and Billy Joel. Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds and Walter Afanasieff produced most of the record, with Bernie Herms and Streisand each handling a single track. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 196,000 copies in its first week, giving Streisand another chart-topper, and it went on to be certified Platinum in the United States. It also reached number one in Canada and Australia.
