A Love Like Ours is a studio album by Barbra Streisand, released by Columbia Records on September 21, 1999. Built as a love-song collection inspired by her 1998 marriage to actor James Brolin, the CD booklet features images of the couple and the whole record leans into romance and devotion. It mixes new pop ballads written for Streisand with older standards, including George and Ira Gershwin's 'Isn't It a Pity?' and the Jule Styne and Bob Merrill Funny Girl song 'The Music That Makes Me Dance.' The centerpiece is the country duet 'If You Ever Leave Me' with Vince Gill, written and produced by Richard Marx and David Foster, which became the album's second single. Streisand co-produced the album alongside Walter Afanasieff, David Foster, Richard Marx, Tony Brown, and Arif Mardin, and it debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 on its way to a US platinum certification.
