Sia co-wrote all of 1000 Forms of Fear, with the bulk of the album written and produced alongside Greg Kurstin and Jesse Shatkin, the two collaborators most responsible for its towering electropop sound. The album also includes 'Elastic Heart' (co-written with Diplo), 'Big Girls Cry', and 'Eye of the Needle', and established the visual motif of Sia performing with her face hidden by a platinum-blonde wig.
