Data Insight

Bellamy is on all eleven tracks and alone on nine. The two exceptions are the first pop co-writes in the catalogue: Timbaland on one and Shellback with Angel Lopez and Federico Vindver on another. After nearly twenty years with one writer, this is where Muse start using a modern pop writing room, and it goes with the 1980s synth production rather than against it.

Simulation Theory is Muse's eighth album, released in November 2018 with a 1980s synth-pop frame and several producers including Rich Costey, Mike Elizondo, Shellback and Timbaland. It reached number one in the UK and number two in the US.
