Volume 2 completes the 2013 double album, again written by the band with Kevin Churko. It closes with a heavy cover of the traditional 'House of the Rising Sun,' and features Ryan Clark of Demon Hunter on 'Weight Beneath My Sin.' The chart-topping 'Battle Born' anchors the originals. Churko produced. Like its companion, it reached Gold and kept the band at the top of rock radio.

Volume 2 followed on November 19, 2013, four months after its companion, and also entered the Billboard 200 at number two. Kevin Churko produced it with the band, as he did the first half. 'Battle Born' went to number one on Mainstream Rock and a heavy reading of the traditional 'House of the Rising Sun' reached number seven, with Ryan Clark of Demon Hunter singing on 'Weight Beneath My Sin.' The RIAA has certified it gold.
