Don't Mess Up My Tempo keeps the hybrid pattern: Chanyeol is the standout member-author, co-writing both lyrics and music on 'Gravity' and 'With You,' while the title track and most of the album come from SM staff and outside teams like the Underdogs and Orange Factory Music. Don't Mess Up My Tempo is the fifth studio album by EXO, released in November 2018 by SM Entertainment and led by the single 'Tempo.' It was the group's first album to reunite all nine members on a release after various hiatuses, and member writing continued with Chanyeol co-writing lyrics and music on 'Gravity' and 'With You.' The rest of the album came from SM writers and outside teams such as the Underdogs, LDN Noise and Orange Factory Music. It became EXO's best-selling album at the time, surpassing 1.4 million copies in South Korea and earning a Million certification, followed by the repackage Love Shot.
