The Story
Breaking Benjamin is an American rock band formed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1999 by vocalist and guitarist Benjamin Burnley. The band released four albums with their original lineup through Hollywood Records, including Saturate (2002), We Are Not Alone (2004), Phobia (2006), and Dear Agony (2009), producing hard rock staples such as "So Cold," "The Diary of Jane," "Breath," and "I Will Not Bow." After the original lineup dissolved in 2010, Burnley rebuilt the band with an entirely new roster and released Dark Before Dawn (2015) and Ember (2018). Benjamin Burnley is the sole constant creative force and primary songwriter across all six studio albums.
