Keith Stegall produced the record, with Scott Hendricks producing 'Tonight I Climbed the Wall.' Jackson wrote or co-wrote seven of the ten tracks, working most often with longtime partner Jim McBride and once with Randy Travis on 'She's Got the Rhythm (And I Got the Blues).' The album produced five singles, led by the number-one country hits 'She's Got the Rhythm (And I Got the Blues)' and 'Chattahoochee,' the latter crossing to number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming his signature song. It is his best-selling studio album, certified six-times platinum by the RIAA.
