2014 Forest Hills Drive is the third studio album by J. Cole, released on December 9, 2014 through ByStorm Entertainment, Dreamville Records, Roc Nation, and Columbia Records. Named after his childhood home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the conscious hip hop album was produced by Cole with Illmind, Vinylz, Willie B, and Phonix Beats, and is notable for featuring no guest rappers. Its singles include "Apparently," "Wet Dreamz," "No Role Modelz," and "Love Yourz." The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 353,000 first-week copies and has since been certified six times platinum by the RIAA. Widely regarded as Cole's breakthrough, it became a touchstone for the idea of a major rap album going platinum with no features.
