Data Insight

Six of the thirteen songs carry Miguel Armando Armenta and five carry Jesús Ortíz Paz, but this half of the session leans much harder on outside writing than its twin does. Four tracks come from a single author with no other credit on the album: Rodolfo Edén Muñoz Cantú, Edgardo Nuñez, Tomas Ballardo and Jose Ontiveros Meza each wrote one alone, and "50 Mentadas" belongs to Mario "El Cachorro" Delgado. "Un Idiota" reaches furthest outside the corridos circle, credited to José Manuel Figueroa Figueroa, the Mexican songwriter who worked as Joan Sebastian. The one track built the opposite way is the hit: "Bebe Dame" puts Ortíz Paz and Armenta with Édgar Iván Barrera Guerra, and those three plus Jimmy Humilde share the production.

Sigan Hablando holds the other half of the 26 songs Fuerza Regida cut for what was meant to be one album. Sony Music Latin, Street Mob and Rancho Humilde put it out alongside Pa Que Hablen on December 30, 2022, and both records were the first to feature Moisés López on tololoche. Edén Muñoz, Alfredo Olivas, Edgardo Nuñez and Grupo Frontera turn up as guests, and the Grupo Frontera duet "Bebe Dame" reached number one on Hot Latin Songs. The album entered Top Latin Albums at number six with 9,000 album-equivalent units and topped Regional Mexican Albums two weeks later.

Frequently Asked Questions Sigan Hablando

How is Sigan Hablando different from Pa Que Hablen?
They are two halves of one recording session. Fuerza Regida wrote 26 songs for a single album, their manager Jimmy Humilde told them that was too many, and the band split the material into two 13-track records released on the same day, December 30, 2022.
Which song from Sigan Hablando charted highest?
"Bebe Dame" with Grupo Frontera. It reached number 1 on Hot Latin Songs, number 1 on Hot Regional Mexican Songs, number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 on the Billboard Global 200.
Who wrote "Un Idiota"?
José Manuel Figueroa Figueroa, the Mexican songwriter who recorded as Joan Sebastian. He is the only credited writer on the track.
Who produced Sigan Hablando?
Jesús Ortíz Paz produced all thirteen tracks. "Bebe Dame" adds Édgar Barrera, Armenta and Jimmy Humilde to the production credit. Ortíz Paz and Humilde are the executive producers.
Data note: Set to unverified because the per-track writer, producer and performer credits rest on Genius alone. MusicBrainz returns an empty relations array on the release and on the recordings checked, so it confirms the running order and track lengths but no credit. Discogs has no entry for the album and Spanish Wikipedia has no article for it. One track has a second source: the Wikipedia article for "Bebe Dame" matches the Genius writer and producer lists. Four writers sit in lyricists with no composer entry because no legal name is published for them anywhere checked: Edgardo Nuñez, Tomas Ballardo, Mario "El Cachorro" Delgado and Edición Especial, the last of which is a group rather than a person. Genius titles track 2 "Fiestas, Trago, Noche Loca", track 7 "El Pirata" and track 9 "Chrysler 300 (En Vivo)"; the Wikipedia track listing is used here. Genius spells Diego Millán's legal name "Diego Armando Millán Medrando" in its alternate-names field and "Diego Armando Millán Medrano" in its artist biography; the biography spelling is used here.
