Data Insight

Feid has a writing credit on all fifteen tracks and Sky Rompiendo on fourteen, which puts the album's authorship in the hands of two people who had been working together since Feid's first song in 2016. The exception is the closing bonus track "Si Tú Supieras," the only song Sky Rompiendo neither wrote nor produced. Around that pair sits a small Medellín circle: Jowan writes on seven tracks, Rolo on five and Chilean producer Taiko on four, and each of them produces what he writes. Writers from outside that circle reach the record twice, through Foreign Teck on "XXXX" and "El Padrino" and through the Danish pair Benjamin Lasnier and Daniel Davidsen on "14 de Febrero." Mosty mixed and mastered every track.

Inter Shibuya - La Mafia is Feid's fourth studio album, released August 20, 2021, through Universal Music Latino. He recorded it in Medellín and Miami during the COVID-19 pandemic and kept it free of guest artists, working almost entirely with Colombian producer Sky Rompiendo. The title borrows the name of the Shibuya crossing in Tokyo, which Feid called a meeting point, and the four intersecting CMYK circles on the cover stand for his four studio albums. It reached number 29 on Top Latin Albums and number 20 on Latin Rhythm Albums, and it won Album of the Year, New Artist at the Premios Tu Música Urbano in 2022.

Frequently Asked Questions Inter Shibuya - La Mafia

Who produced Inter Shibuya - La Mafia?
Sky Rompiendo produced or co-produced fourteen of the fifteen tracks. Jowan, Taiko, ICON, Foreign Teck, BassCharity, Pardo, Alex Petit and Feid himself cover the rest, and Mosty mixed and mastered the whole album.
Does the album have guest artists?
The standard fifteen-track edition has none. Feid said ahead of release that he wanted a personal record with no collaborations. Sky Rompiendo is credited alongside him on "Chimbita" and the duo ICON on "Purrito Apa," but both are his own producers rather than outside features.
What is the Ferxxo Edition?
A nine-track expansion released December 17, 2021. It added "Vacaxiones," "Friki" with Karol G, "Monastery" with Ryan Castro, a "Fumeteo" remix with Mora and Eladio Carrión, and five more songs. That edition charted separately, peaking at number 20 in Spain.
Where does the title come from?
Feid named the album after the Shibuya crossing in Tokyo, out of his interest in Japanese culture, and described the intersection as a meeting point. His sister designed the cover and his father painted it.
Data note: Two writers are credited only under a stage name and no legal name is published on any source checked, so they appear as lyricists and not as composers: Rolo, of the production duo ICON, and Mirza on "14 de Febrero." Sources disagree on who produced "Si Tú Supieras": Wikipedia credits Alex Petit, Genius credits CashMoneyAP, and both are listed here. Genius lists Myke Towers as a writer on "Jordan IV" and Wilfran Castillo on "14 de Febrero"; neither appears in the Wikipedia track listing.
