Data Insight

Feid holds a writing credit on all sixteen tracks and is the only writer on eight of them. The second author of the record never appears on its cover: Esteban Higuita Estrada, who works as Wain, produces nine tracks, mixes fifteen of the sixteen and writes on two. Alejandro Ramírez Suárez, credited as Sky Rompiendo, produces five songs and writes on the same five, four of which carry the album's guest features. "El Cuarto de Ferxxo" is the one track Feid did not start alone in a small room, a five-writer song produced by Blow Music and Jowan where his name sits beside Douglas Villasmil, Mateo Cano Calderón, Daniel Esteban Taborda Valencia and Duvalier Alberto Torres Ayala.

Feid called his third album M.O.R after a phrase that works two ways, messages on repeat and a piece of Colombian slang. Wain and Sky Rompiendo built most of the sixteen tracks between them, with Maluma, Justin Quiles, Manuel Turizo and Álvaro Díaz taking guest spots. Protesters in the Colombian demonstrations of 2019 and 2020 started copying its lyrics onto their signs, and the record peaked at number 18 in Spain and number 27 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums. It was nominated for best urban music album at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2020.

Frequently Asked Questions Ferxxo (Vol 1: M.O.R)

What does M.O.R stand for?
Messages on repeat. The letters also work as Colombian slang, which is why Feid used them for a title rather than spelling the phrase out. The album is stylized in all caps, and most of its song titles replace vowels with the letter x, a habit that runs through his catalog.
Who produced Ferxxo (Vol 1: M.O.R)?
Wain produced nine of the sixteen tracks and Sky Rompiendo produced five, including every song with a guest singer on it. Feid co-produced "Excxsxs", "Morxx" and "Perreoxoxo", Noize handled "Tx Vxs" and shares "X19X" with Wain, and Blow Music and Jowan built "El Cuarto de Ferxxo". Wain also mixed everything except "Tx Vxs", which Mosty mixed.
Who are the guest artists?
Maluma and Sky Rompiendo appear on "Fresh Kerias", Justin Quiles on "Porfa", Manuel Turizo on "Borraxxa", Álvaro Díaz on "Cu U U U Ux" and Sky Rompiendo again on "Relxjxte". The other eleven tracks are Feid on his own.
How did the album perform?
It reached number 18 on the Spanish albums chart and number 27 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums, finishing at number 72 on that chart's year-end list for 2020. AMPROFON certified it 2x Platinum in Mexico. It was nominated for best urban music album at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2020.
Data note: "Ateo" was issued as a single in January 2020 but charted nowhere, so it is left out of the charting singles list. Wikipedia credits Feid alone as producer of "Excxsxs" while Genius credits Wain; both names are carried on the track.
