Courage was Celine Dion's first studio album in five years and her first to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 since Let's Talk About Love (1997), a 22-year gap between US chart-toppers. The album blends pop with EDM-influenced production from David Guetta, Greg Kurstin, StarGate, Jimmy Napes, and Stephan Moccio, among approximately 20 credited producers. It sold approximately 600,000 copies worldwide in 2019, becoming the 20th best-selling album of that year globally. Five singles were released including "Flying on My Own" and "Courage," though none charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
Courage, released November 15, 2019, is Celine Dion's fourteenth English-language studio album, her first since 2013's Loved Me Back to Life. The album was executive produced by Dion herself and features contributions from major contemporary pop writers and producers including David Guetta, Sia, Greg Kurstin, and Skylar Grey. The lead single 'Flying on My Own' (written by Lara Fabian and Rick Allison) debuted at number one in Canada. The album was a commercial success, debuting at number one in Canada and Switzerland.
