The record leans toward pop and dance-pop, with much of it produced by the Swedish team of Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, Peer Astrom, Anders Bagge, and Kristian Lundin, along with Ric Wake, John Shanks, and Humberto Gatica. The lead single "I Drove All Night," a cover of the Roy Orbison song, reached number one in Canada, Belgium, and Sweden, while the title track "One Heart" peaked at number 27 in the United Kingdom and "Have You Ever Been in Love" reached number two on the US Adult Contemporary chart. One Heart debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with 432,000 first-week copies and topped the charts in Canada, France, Denmark, Belgium, and Switzerland. The album was certified 2x Platinum in the United States and has sold more than five million copies worldwide, arriving as Dion began her long-running residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
