My Savior is a gospel covers album: all thirteen tracks are traditional hymns and spiritual standards such as "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art," so Underwood's role is purely interpretive rather than as a writer. "My Savior" is the 2021 gospel album by Carrie Underwood, a collection of traditional Christian hymns set to country and gospel arrangements that she co-produced with David Garcia. The album included "Nothing but the Blood of Jesus" featuring Bear Rinehart, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" with CeCe Winans, "Just as I Am," and "Victory in Jesus," backed by session musicians including Buddy Greene, Bryan Sutton, and Mac McAnally. It debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and reached number 1 on both Top Country Albums and Top Christian Albums, marking her ninth consecutive number 1 country album.
