Full Circle was produced in part by Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and Scott Storch, alongside Boyz II Men themselves and various collaborators. Two singles were released, "The Color of Love" and "Relax Your Mind" featuring Faith Evans, though neither charted significantly on the Hot 100. Full Circle is the fifth studio album by Boyz II Men, released in July 2002 on Arista Records. It was the group's first album on a new label after departing Universal, and a collection that attempted to reconnect with the Babyface-produced ballad approach of II while acknowledging the contemporary R&B mainstream. The group co-wrote several tracks; 'What Can We Do' (featuring P. Diddy), 'Right Now,' and 'Area Codes (Remix)' (featuring Ludacris) were among the principal tracks, reflecting the attempt to incorporate hip-hop collaborations into the smooth R&B formula. Full Circle debuted at number 31 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified gold in the United States; its modest commercial performance confirmed the diminished commercial standing of the traditional Boyz II Men formula in the post-2000 R&B landscape. Full Circle's limited commercial performance reflected the structural transformation of the R&B market rather than a failure of execution, and the album's honest engagement with contemporary production trends gave it more commercial credibility than a simple retreat to the Cooleyhighharmony formula would have achieved.
